About this work
This series of photographs showcases the career of “Barista” through work inside Pour & Purr Home Cafe CNX, a home cafe with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is like visiting a friend's house to spend time with a cup of coffee.
Photographs documenting people, places and activities, from the atmosphere inside the barista, to the equipment, to the process of preparing and brewing coffee, with an emphasis on conveying the “care” behind each cup, from the preparation of the action to the delivery to the drinker.
Coffee is more than just a drink, it is a small thing that reflects the intention of the person making it and passes on the good feeling to the person entering the store.
Because sometimes the good feeling from a cup of coffee can start with the attention of the person who made it.
