Artist Statement

Supatchaya Chaimart (b. 2004, Thailand) is a creative photography student at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, whose practice explores
movement, transformation
and subtle visual phenomena often unnoticed by the human eye. Working primarily as an independent photographer, her work focuses on capturing
fleeting moments through experimental processes and close observation, translating motion and impermanence into visual form.
Her recent projects investigate the fragile beauty of soap bubbles, using macro photography techniques to reveal shifting colors, textures, and temporal
qualities. Through experimentation with bubble solutions and light interaction, Supatchaya examines themes of instability, chance, and ephemerality,
emphasizing how identical processes can produce unpredictable visual outcomes. Her photographic approach combines scientific curiosity with poetic
interpretation.
