As I Saw It

About this work

Traveling to another country for the first time is always exciting, and your eyes just see new things everywhere. This photo set is like a diary of my overseas study trip, taken in a snapshot style. I didn't set up the scenes or wait for the perfect moment. Instead, I chose to take photos to freeze the time and the views that I loved the most. It shows how ‘the new experience’ really made me feel at that time.
My first trip abroad was always full of excitement and glimpses, but with new stories, this series of photos is like a diary documenting my study abroad experience through snap shot style. I didn't set the scene or wait for the perfect time, but chose to shutter to stop the timing and perspective that I loved the most to reflect that.
How did “novelty” work with my feelings at the time?
