About this work

This photographic series explores the relationship between trees and human actions—actions carried out without consent. Trees cannot speak or respond; the only evidence of what has occurred lies in the marks inscribed on their bark, serving as silent testimony to what has been done to them.
This work does not attempt to provide answers. Instead, it opens a space for viewers to question their own role, to reflect on the human desire that leaves traces upon nature, and to consider the impact that even small actions may leave behind—both on the one who acts and on the life that cannot raise its voice.
