Visual Entropy

Architecture is an artificial form of beauty carefully constructed, precise,and often overwhelming to the viewer.In this work, these structures were photographed through transparent objects,
using accidental and uncontrollable methods.The distorted images take on forms that exceed intentional design,becoming shapes that could not be artificially created.Tokyo and Kyoto two contrasting cities are both blurred and transformed through distortion.Once altered, the same image can never appear in exactly the same way again.These shifting landscapes soften the rigid and linear image of architecture,allowing something more fluid to emerge.And within that transformation, another unfamiliar form quietly begins to appear.

建築物は人工的に作られた美しい造形物であり、見るものを圧倒させる。そのような建築物を透明な物体によってコントロールできない発的な方法で撮影をした。歪まされた像は人工的にできない想像を超えた形となる。東京と京都、対照的である2つの都市はどちらも歪み、曖昧化される。1度歪んだその景色はもう一度同じ像になることは無く変容する。それらは見るものに建築の美しく直線的なイメージを流動的なものに変え、別の新たな姿を浮かび上がらせるだろう。
